This place was perfect for our Christmas stay! the apartment was spacious and fully equipped, with a large dining table and comfortable furniture. the kitchen had everything we needed, and we even had the option to have a braai. the balcony was a bonus, offering a great view and a convenient clothes hanging rack. the location couldn't have been better. It was right in the heart of the city, with a shopping center right in front and a 24-hour gas station and KFC nearby. We could easily walk to Independence Avenue and Maerua Mall as well. Plus, the staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.
Although we had a great overall experience, there were a couple of downsides. the cleanliness could have been better, especially when it came to the sheets and dishes.

The reception staff were friendly and welcoming, which was a nice way to start our stay. The spaciousness of the accommodation was great for our family, providing a comfortable and homely atmosphere. Additionally, the location of the hotel was very convenient, with central Windhoek easily accessible by foot.
One major issue we had was with the noise from the roof during windy nights, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. Another drawback was the green tiles used for the interior decorating, which didn't appeal to our taste and somewhat spoiled the overall ambiance.

We stayed at a huge and fully equipped apartment in a prime location. the apartment had a spacious living room, balcony, two bedrooms, and two bathrooms. the kitchen was fully equipped and even had a braai option. the staff were friendly and helpful, and they promptly corrected an overcharge mistake. the best thing about the apartment was its central location, close to various amenities like a shopping center, 24-hour gas station, shop, KFC, and within walking distance to Independence Avenue and Maerua Mall.
It was a great stay at Home Inn Self-Catering. Cons: Didn't dislike anything about the property.
